How to Check Recent Sign-Ins Outlook

1. Sign in to your Microsoft account 
Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/ and log in using your work or school email and password. 

 

2. Access Sign-In Activity 
Click RECENT ACTIVITY under the Security section.  

 

3. Review Recent Activity 
Check the list of recent sign-ins. It shows: 
- Date and time 
- Location / IP address 
- Device type 
- Status (success, failure, unusual activity) 
Look for any sign-ins you don’t recognize. 

 

4. Report or Secure Your Account 
- If you notice suspicious activity, click Look Unfamiliar? Secure your account. next to the entry. 
- Follow prompts to secure your account and reset your password. 
- Consider enabling or updating multi-factor authentication (MFA) if not already active. 

 

Tips 
- Sign-ins from unusual locations or devices may trigger alerts — review them carefully. 
- Regularly checking your sign-in history is a best practice for account security. 

 

Troubleshooting 
- If you cannot access the sign-in activity page: 
• Ensure you are logging in with your work/school account. 
• Make sure your browser is updated. 
• Pop-ups are not blocked.
